On November 25, 2024 ICARST participated on the meeting between UCM - MAGI's within Collaborative network DanubeMathOmics with Slovak Institutions. Main issue was to present collaborative results and to design ways on how to increase cooperation within the network, where ICARST is one of the collaborative centers.

The paper entitled "Laccases as effective tools in the removal of pharmaceutical products from the aquatic systems" summarizes the recent progress in the field and it has been published as as a cooperative effort of the team of experts from the Faculty of Natural Sciences UCM, and ICARST.

The project AVIFLU "Computational Design, Synthesis, Testing and Disposition of Inhibitors of Neuraminidazes of Influenza A Virus as Potential Antiviral Compounds" has entered in the final months of its implementation. ICARST has contributed to the project by development of new methods of the determination of Neuraminidase inhibitory activity.
